But seriously. Yeah, your colouring could use improvement. Maybe do heaps of practise with copics (I'll buy you some for you for practise with your B'Day if ya want) and use other means of colouring in the meantime.
I also notice that otherwise great pictures have not been top-notch because you get a bit lazy on the detail and don't put much effort into certain parts. Remember, as an artist you have to invest heaps of time into all areas of your work, even if it means spending hours on one aspect. It won't do to draw one thing magnificently and then think 'Ah, bugger it, it'll be fine like this,' and do a random scribble that brings down the overall quality.
Though this can be a bit detrimental time-wise. .__. I once spent about 3-4 hours trying to correct a hand, once. And made three copies of one other-wise good picture because one of the eyes didn't turn out how I wanted it to. And then there was completely re-drawing Sil and Lol Issue 2 again because I couldn't get Sil's expression right in the last frame. And... I'll stop there. o_O;;;
Euuuuurgh. That's an extreme, don't turn into me if you can help it. 8D;;
Work as hard as you can on facial expressions as well, because they are generally the main focus in a picture. It takes a lot of painstaking work to get emotion properly conveyed; a slight tweak of the eyebrow or angle of the lip could make a big difference in the expression overall, so it's hard. Not that I can talk.
Your toning and inking is beautiful, so I don't think you need to focus specifically on that at this point.
Your anatomy needs improvement when it comes to certain perspectives and positions, but that's a general flaw in most artists.

A kiss goodbye, your twisted shell
As rice grains and roses fall at your feet
Let's say goodbye, the hundredth time
And then tomorrow we'll do it again
Tomorrow we'll do it again

I'm thinking of doing some Kingdom Hearts Two fanart... because some of those heartless are just SO DANGED CUTE! Sarah has the strategy guide, so I'll steal that for a while and see what I can come up with.

I've gotta say that I much prefer the sketch markers, because they have a softer tip. And that paper I got from Jacksons is perfect. ;_;
Although I do tend to use about 50 million strong colours too many 8D;;
Thankyou! I'll try my best and do more Copic tests. >=3
